Sarah
Thank you, thank you, thank you for introducing us to Sarah! She is such a wonderful addition to our family!

             

She has only been here 5 days, but I feel as though I’ve always known and loved her. She has adapted to us so quickly. At first, at the shelter she was so shy and didn’t want us to pet her. Well that sure changed quickly. We stopped at Petsmart on the way home and she had the full spa treatment, including having her nails painted. By the time we got home she was sitting in my lap and accepting my touch.

I think that she must have enjoyed living in a home before because, she definitely knows what a bed is! She jumped in bed with me that first night and hasn’t slept anywhere else all week.

She is so sweet and loyal! She follows me everywhere I go. We did some gardening together this weekend and she stayed right with me without requiring a leash! She has made many new friends this week including two neighborhood dogs who she loves to visit with.

She is so easygoing and patient! She plays with our 4 year old daughter and tolerates her constant attention. She enjoys long walks and going to the park. I suspect someone taught her to play fetch, either that or she is a super fast learner! As I write this she is curled up at my feet, anxiously looking forward to cuddling on the couch and watching some TV with my husband and me. We have scheduled a vet appointment for her at the end of the month and we will keep in touch with you.

Thank you so much for all that you do. I know that you put so much of yourselves into your work. Your work is hard and often thankless, heartbreaking, and frustrating. I appreciate you both so much.
