Douglas G. Wagner, 53, of Chambersburg, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 in the Chambersburg Hospital . Born on November 17, 1957 in Harrisburg , he was a son of the late Harold Wagner and Charlotte (Gray) Wagner.
A 1975 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School , Doug earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Penn State . He was the president of Wagner's Supply Depot Inc in Chambersburg , which he and his wife, Alice, have owned and operated for the last ten years. Doug was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the George Washington Lodge 143 F& AM. He also served as a board member for the Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce, Occupational Services Inc., the Franklin County Therapeutic Riding Center , and Better Days Animal League. Some of his favorite time was spent gardening and landscaping.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 25 years, Alice (Stewart) Wagner, whom he married in 1985; their children, Ken Wagner (and wife, Sumi) currently stationed in Korea with the U.S. Air Force, Christopher Wagner of Chambersburg, and Rebecca Martin (and husband, Lance) of Fayetteville; one brother, Randall Wagner (and wife, Catherine) of Chicago, IL; two grandsons, Sean Wagner and Jacob Martin, and his nephews, Benjamin, Nicholas, Daniel, and Zachary Wagner.
