Better Days Animal League is a non-profit organization that relies on the dedicated commitment of volunteers to provide a safe and nurturing home for our rescued animals. We are seeking self-motivated volunteers who can make a regular commitment of one, two or more visits on a weekly basis. BDAL provides orientation for all new volunteers to help acclimate them to our environment and procedures. Some of the duties of a normal volunteer shift include:
Cleaning Kennels; Cleaning Litterboxes; Laundry; Washing Dishes; General Cleaning; Washing/Grooming Animals; Yard/Field Maintenance…
Our normal volunteer shifts are daily from 9:00am-12:00pm. Our Chambersburg location houses primarily dogs and our Shippensburg location houses primarily cats. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Volunteers under age 18 are required to have a parent or guardian with them to volunteer.
Attend one of our special events. From family fun to adoption events, there is always something fun to do and just by attending you will be helping us in our mission to care for unwanted and neglected animals. Get your tickets to attend one of our special events today or contact us to help with special fundraising events.
